Hampton Inn St. Louis/Westport

The Hampton Inn St. Louis/Westport was a great choice, primarily for its perfect location right next to the delicious Syberg's and an easy Uber ride to the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater. The room was also fantastic—it was very clean, with comfortable beds, awesome pillows, and a great shower. While a few of the common areas, like the hallways, elevator and lobby floors, could have been cleaner, it was a minor issue that didn't affect our overall positive stay.

Stayed for work during the snow storm. Nice but small rooms, friendly staff. Only had 1 working elevator

The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean. Overall, I had a good night sleep. The breakfast consisted of both hot and cold options.

I've stayed at this location prior, during, and after remodeling. The rooms have always been clean, the service friendly, and the location is convenient. The 2 things that keep me from a five-star rating are the elevator and the luggage cart. The elevator moves so fast. You have 2-3 seconds to get on or off before the doors close. The doors close fast, and with luggage, you will get caught by the doors. The luggage cart was ready for the junkyard. In my attempt to get to my room, all four bars and the hanging bar detached from the cart in one piece. It looked as though the cart had been repaired multiple times. When I told the desk the cart needed help, he just chuckled at me. I'd stay here again on the ground floor and select a stable cart.

Close to my work and great staff. Clean rooms and well appointed. Highly recommend for travelers.

Very clean, checkin staff was kind, I always love staying at Hamptons.

Quiet hotel a little further away from the airport than I'd thought, but the BBQ place across the road had cold beer and tender ribs, so it fit my needs. The breakfast was uninspired and the only coffee choices were light roast or decaf. (Having lived and worked in southern Louisiana and Latin America, I prefer the dark roast that most Hampton Inns offer.) The room was comfortable and the shower had ample hot water.

The thing that makes up for everything else is the staff. They were all super sweet and accommodating to us when we came for my grandmother's funeral. They are some things that desperately need help. The lighting in our room was null, so three women getting ready in the dark was kinda hard. We had a small lamp next to the desk, and two by the bed, that was it. The sausage and hash browns were cold both mornings and the eggs were way over cooked. I waited thirty minutes for them to replace the creamer only to find the coffee was gone as well. That was the worst. The beds were so comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff amazing.
